About the Canford Magna Archers
The Canford Magna Bowmen, is a sporting section of the Cobham
Sports and Social Club (Merley Park Rd, Merley), was
started in 2000 by some friends with a common interest.
It has quickly grown to over 50 members, with some 15 junior
members.
During the winter months, we have the opportunity to shoot
indoors at 20 yds, but in the warmer months, we can move outside and
shoot rounds at both 90 metres & 100 yds.
About Cobham
Cobham plc. are the parent company of Flight Refuelling, to
whom the club originally belonged. As we are a sub-section of the
Cobham Sports and Social Club, all members of the Canford Magna Bowmen
must have full membership of the Cobham
Sports and Social Club (CS&SC).
